road registering my 1032

Can anyone tell me what i need to do to get number plates for my little gutbrod?

It has a serial number on the chassis plate so I'm guessing it can be dated?

Any help gratefully received.

I believe that Chester Hudson has the original sales records for all Gutbrods sold in the Uk so he should be able to officially date your tractor.

I have a list of serial numbers versus dates that I got from a friend in Germany and could probably give you a date from that but I don't think that would be official enough for registering it.

Have a look here...

You will need 'type approval' or a 'certificate of conformity' These would normally be supplied by the manufacturer but that is not possible for Gutbrods. As I understand it, you can take the tractor for testing but I imagine this is not economically viable.

Does anyone know how to get either 'type approval' or a 'certificate of conformity'?
