Model 1031 Electrics

Postby Gallimore » Tue Nov 01, 2016 7:01 pm

My 1031 has never had a problem starting, but has now died and no spark is evident (and I've tested the plug). My small-machinery man knows nothing of this make and asks what system is it for providing ignition and where is it all? Any information will be appreciated. I do have a manual in German.

The contact breaker is behind the pulley. A wire comes out the side of the engine to the coil. You have to remove the pulley to access it.

Hope this helps.
